Short Idea

SMARTBIZ is a pioneering project led by Holded to mature its cloud‐based management platform by integrating advanced AI-driven predictive analytics, real-time process optimization, and user-centric design enhancements. The initiative will validate and scale smart automation solutions in diverse business environments, ensuring enhanced operational efficiency and a robust sustainable business model for commercialization.

Abstract

The digital transformation of business operations is accelerating at unprecedented rates, and companies require agile, intelligent solutions to maintain competitive performance. SMARTBIZ, coordinated by Holded, leverages years of expertise in cloud‐based management software to elevate the maturity of its platform through an intensive program of technology enhancement and user‐driven validation. The project builds on proven automation capabilities—currently achieving up to 95% automation in accounting tasks—and expands them into a fully integrated, AI-enhanced suite that addresses billing, inventory management, project management, and CRM with greater efficiency and precision.

The initiative aims at bridging the gap between laboratory prototypes and real-world application by adopting a user-centric methodology throughout its development phases. In its early stages, the project will refine predictive analytics modules and integrate modular components that allow dynamic adaptation to sector-specific challenges. The enhanced system will offer real-time insights and actionable intelligence to small and mid-sized businesses across industries such as retail, construction, and professional services.
