Short Idea

ADVSEC propels Arexdata’s state‐of‐the‐art cloud‐integrated Data Security Platform from laboratory proof‐of-concept to market validated demonstrators. The project combines rapid prototyping, iterative user testing, and market-focused business development to achieve TRL 5-6. By integrating with leading cloud environments, engaging real users, and refining compliance and access management features, ADVSEC establishes a sustainable, scalable solution for enterprise data integrity and regulatory excellence.

Abstract

ADVSEC is designed to bridge the gap between innovative laboratory data security solutions and fully operational systems deployed in real-world enterprise environments. Coordinated by Arexdata, the project focuses on advancing a cutting-edge, cloud-integrated Data Security Platform that audits, classifies, and protects sensitive enterprise data. With seamless compatibility across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, the platform offers centralized visibility, robust traceability, and effective compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks. The proposed initiative will mature the technology from TRL 4 to TRL 5-6 through a structured set of development, integration, and validation activities aligned with the EIC Transition Open call objectives.

The project will employ a user-centric methodology, incorporating prototyping, model simulation, and iterative testing with early-adopter enterprise customers. In WP2, technical enhancements will optimize rapid deployment and real-time risk detection, ensuring the protective measures adapt swiftly to evolving cyber threats. WP3 will focus on system integration and the development of demonstrators within major cloud platforms, thereby verifying the platform’s scalability and reliability in diverse IT environments. Simultaneously, WP4 will engage end-users through comprehensive validation tests, collecting structured feedback that will fine-tune usability, compliance functionality, and operational performance.

Beyond technology maturation, ADVSEC addresses market and business development challenges. WP5 is devoted to constructing a sustainable commercial strategy that includes rigorous market analysis, customer validation, and the formulation of a robust business model. This phase will explore iterative learning processes to align the product with market needs and set the stage for eventual commercialization. The consortium, composed of experts in cybersecurity, cloud integration, regulatory compliance, and market strategy, ensures all aspects of the project are addressed coherently, from technical innovation to business impact. By building on proven success and extending the platform’s capabilities, ADVSEC is poised to deliver a breakthrough solution that reinforces enterprise data security and meets stringent regulatory demands, thereby facilitating a smoother transition from research to a commercially viable product.
